Where the Chemistry Happens...

As a Sr. Day Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for quality assurance testing of in process samples, raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods within the scope of the Company Quality Policy. Using appropriate software to evaluate data based on internal and external specifications, support the continuous improvement of lab and plant processes through QA/QC activities and meet and/or exceed customer expectations.

As a Sr. Day Laboratory Technician, You Create Chemistry By...

 

• Analyzing raw material, intermediate products, finished products and other chemical samples and evaluating suitability according to established specification to ensure quality and availability of final product
• Analyzing samples provide quality data and become an active member along with the Lab Supervisor and production personnel to provide innocative ideas to improve lab and plant processes and demonstrate continuous improvement. 
• Analyzing system suitability for 11339, 11340, 11717, 11356, etc.
• Analyzing stability samples put out by cGMP Specialist
• Analyzing recertification samples for Surfactants Lab
• Assisting in customer complaint investigations
• Training new Surfactants technicians
• Being backup for Surfactants validations
• Generating drum labels
• Completing bottle/scoop reconciliation
• Being backup for reviewing wash paperwork on days
• Having a working knowledge of Lotus Notes, LabWAre, SAP, Microsoft Office Programs, 

If you...

 

• Minimum 2-year Associates degree in Chemistry or 2-year technical degree in analytical testing or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience working in a chemical manufacturing laboratory environment.
