What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to healthcare and medical device areas by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and authorizing access in accordance with site protocols.
• Issue and track visitor credentials, maintain access logs, and report unauthorized access attempts and/or credential irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access alarms and restricted-area concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, interior areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
