The Work:
The Senior SAP Finance Functional Consultant should have SAP Finance subject matter expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Funds Management. Experience with SAP Public Sector Financials. Within Funds Management, the ability to track (and control) detailed budgets organized by Fund (source of budget), funds center (area of responsibility), and commitment item (type of expenditure). Configuration experience and the ability to create a budget for each level of this 3-dimensional structure.
Responsibilities include:
• Gather requirements and design solutions to meet these requirements
• Facilitate interaction with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements.
• Developing test strategies and managing large complex test efforts
• Business process design and system analysis
• Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities
• Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications
• Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
• Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
Job Qualifications
Here’s What You Need:
- 5 + years SAP ECC Finance experience
- Team lead experience
- S. Citizenship required (no dual citizen)
Bonus points if you have:
- SAP functional/configuration experience; DoD or Public Sector SAP experience a plus
- Client-facing experience
NON-STANDARD REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to pass applicable background investigation(s).
Must be able to seamlessly work virtually with geographically separated team members or team leads.
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $73,900 - $234,900
Colorado: $67,900 - $213,600
New York: $62,100 - $234,900
Washington State: $71,500 - $196,400
