We’re looking for a data architecture lead like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions.  

As a data architect on our team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for our data lake. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches, and working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments. 

In this role, you’ll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, design the overall architecture for integrating new data types, and ensure the data architecture supports scalability, performance, and security. You’ll lead a team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:   

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications at enterprise scale 

• 3+ years of experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data

• 3+ years of experience building scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics 

• Experience with at least two object oriented languages, including Java, Python, or TypeScript

• Knowledge of database design principles, including data modeling and data warehousing

• Knowledge of big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka

• Ability to design, plan, and implement data lake architecture

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience in building scalable and reliable data lake components

• Knowledge of security best practices for data lakes

• Master’s degree

• Security+, Agile Certified Professional (ACP), Certified ICAgile Professional, AWS Associate, AWS Professional, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification

Clearance:   

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
