Job Overview
Responsible for managing the Office of Contract Compliance, including oversight and adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies related to procurement and supplier agreements. This role involves monitoring compliance with federal and state regulations, developing policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with university policies and procedures related to procurement and supplier agreements. Conduct risk assessments when appropriate.
- Direct and manage all activities of the Office of Contract Compliance (e.g., compliance, vendors, and prevailing wages).
- Ensure compliance with university policies and guidelines.
- Develop annual term contracts of high-dollar volume.
- Assist and ensure compliance with the State of Ohio Wage & Hour Division by investigating complaints alleging payroll performance issues with those vendors maintaining contracts with the University of Cincinnati.
- Oversee the compliance review of all grants awarded to the university.
- Prepare and present reports to the State and university and external entities.
- Keep abreast of current contract compliance guidelines.
- May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).

Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience
- Seven (7) years of related experience.
- One (1) year supervision experience.

- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.

Salary/Hourly Pay Rate Information: $101,700 dependent on candidate experience
