As a Airport Law Enforcement Office in Lihue, HI, As an Airport Law Enforcement Officer you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. This is an armed security position, you are commissioned to the airport as a Law Enforcement/Airport Police Officer. Candidates must have completed a recognized law enforcement training academy and possess verifiable prior experience. This position is not a training program for individuals seeking to become law enforcement officers.

Position Type: Full Time - Morning Shift

Pay Rate: $28.86 with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS):

To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
• Must provide valid and verifiable credentials at the time of application

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)
• Valid Driver's License 
• Law Enforcement Officer License
• 22+ years of age

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter and designated areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and/or unauthorized individuals to help to deter potential security-related threats.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related situations as they arise.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties.
