Responsibilities
Familiar with Avaya CM and Session Manager for wireless solutions. Coordinates and manages telecom projects for wireless device deployments including executing moves, ads, changes and disconnections. Leads the coordination with IT/Telecom resources for programming devices, testing and validation of wireless network readiness for new deployments and troubleshooting of existing wireless systems. Supports the management of legacy wireless hardware including integrations with nurse call systems, moves, adds, changes, removal and/or conversion of legacy hardware and handset devices.
Coordinates with facility leadership, IT, corporate wireless and network resources to confirm wireless readiness, equipment procurement, deployment, training, testing and system monitoring to ensure dependable, uninterrupted operation of wireless solutions. Assists in developing implementation plans to upgrade communications systems. Responsible for documenting and communicating budgetary solution requirements for prior approval of replacement projects.
Assists in translation of end user needs into better wireless communication solutions. Coordinates with other departments to understand and meet their telecommunication needs.
Monitors preventive maintenance routines, equipment repairs and other corrective actions. Maintains a strong, productive relationship with vendors and service providers.
