The Project & Support Excellence organization, within Mission Systems Services, has an opening for a Staffing Focal Project Analyst. Candidate will be responsible for supporting Mission Systems Engineering & Technology leaders with operational initiatives, program staffing reporting, and operational analysis. The Operational Project Analyst will collect and analyze data and create and maintain reports and dashboards to help engineering leaders make informed business decisions.
What You Will Do
Maintain project timeframes, objectives, and communications
Collect and analyze data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends
Exercise discretion and independent judgement in respect to sensitive business decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis
Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports, including senior leadership
Working with engineering and the Common Technologies Tools Team (CT3) to identify gaps for new tool development

What You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel and pivot tables
Tool Experience Desired:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
SharePoint
ALM tool suite (Jira and Confluence)
BMW

Staffing Center
Data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
