Responsible for supporting a portfolio of school/center/department programs, projects and operational activities. This position is responsible for coordination of day to day activities for the assigned program. Partners with leaders to oversee the development and execution of key components of a project/ program.Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the daily administrative operations of the department/ program
- Develop and manage the budget and various payroll processes in collaboration with the team. Coordinate payments to staff and vendors as needed
- Coordinate department meetings and conferences
- Handle communications, inquiries, and visitors, field questions and deliver messages. Keep all department document protocols up to date at all times.
- Maintain and Update Departmental Websites and Print Communications. Develop content, coordinate distribution, post news items, listserv management, and manage faculty profiles
- Academic and Curriculum Planning: Assist Chair and faculty manage the undergraduate curriculum and support chairs’ overall academic and curriculum planning. Organize the curriculum, identifying and effectively procuring suitable teaching spaces and any related issues. Track planned academic leaves. Work with the chair to coordinate the two-year curriculum planner
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Position contingent upon funding.
