Job Description
Experian Decision Analytics (DA) is looking for a Vice President, Chief Architect. Your overall responsibility and accountability will be for the architecture and technology roadmap with an initial focus on DA’s Regional ID and Fraud product line, but later expanding to additional product lines. You will spend your time driving the modernization of the full stack, and creating/validating all technology choices (platform, data and application layers). You will have the opportunity to provide leadership in data migration and cloud platform development in technical system transitions with the ability to manage client needs and team execution. The position will also involve designing and architecting solutions leveraging platforms and applications developed outside of this regional business unit.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee development and execution of an effective cloud migration strategy
- Build relationship and exert influence in the technical direction and architecture decisions made by other groups and business units. Ensure design compatibility and develop integration patterns
- Formalize nonfunctional requirements (performance, stability, scalability, maintainability, etc.) and ensures all system designs meet all these requirements
- Communicate and advocate the vision and architecture roadmap to stakeholders at all level of the enterprise

- Hands-on prototyping and development of complex components
- Advanced troubleshooting and highest level of technical escalation for complex issues resolution
- Effectively lead a high performing team and advocate continuing skill development
- Mentor engineers and strive to raise the level of technical expertise in the team
- Collaborate and communicate across a multi business unit company
- Minimize operating expenses to scale
- Drive transparency across business units in all directions
- Lead and drive innovation and process improvement initiatives across business unit
Qualifications
- At least 10+ years work experience in a related role
- 6+ years leading engineering teams
- Ability to build and execute on a long-term technology vision
- Extensive experience in architecture and software engineering with current and advanced technologies
- Demonstrated success in ability to lead, coach, and mentor employees
- Demonstrated ability to assertively drive initiatives to execution with little supervision, while proactively communicating status to key stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or other related field
- Up to 30% travel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
