Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Salesforce Solution Architect in support of The Army Accessions Enterprise (AIE).  AIE is a data-driven, analytics-enabled, Soldier workforce- centric, Mobile, and customer-focused system.  AIE’s overarching objective is to provide accessions and recruiting capabilities.  Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) is seeking the development, delivery, and deployment of AIE, a system that will support the Army’s global operations with over 28,000 core users. Mobility, reliability, secure connectivity, and data access are paramount AIE attributes. The enterprise workforce must be able to perform tasks using any device, anytime, anywhere, while maintaining secure connectivity with the AIE. This position will be located remote.

The Army Accessions Enterprise is data-driven, analytics-enabled, Soldier workforce-centric, Mobile, and customer-focused system. It provides the Army’s strength through its four (4) missions:

  • Enlist Soldiers
  • Commission Officers
  • Fulfill In-Service requirements
  • Support and sustain

AIE is currently hosted in the Salesforce Government Cloud Plus as a Service environment utilizing the Public Sector Solutions. The hosting environment will comply with Federal Risk and Management Program (FedRAMP+) and DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) cloud security information Impact Level 4 (IL4) security controls.

AIE’s primary technical objective is to employ modern technology that enables solutions for the recruiting and accessioning workforce and commanders at multiple echelons across the breadth and depth of the Accessions Enterprise. It will collect, store, secure, and allow role-based access to sensitive data, including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI). AIE will provide timely access for studies, analyses, reporting, and decision support.

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: 

  • Evaluate client requirements, use cases, and other inputs to create a solution roadmap to meet client needs  
  • Apply expert knowledge of Salesforce product capabilities, including plug-ins, to advise on product selections and integrations   
  • Applies expertise in declarative-type platform implementations, including minimizing customization and custom code   
  • Apply workflow, process, and data integration expertise to design an end-to-end solution  
  • Conduct research into clients’ use of Salesforce as part of a transformational accession program, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions 
  • Collaborate with Army client and other stakeholders to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements 
  • Review solutions and recommend process integration, reporting, and data integration improvements   
  • Advises on Cloud requirements and performance capabilities  
  • Work with a team to groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog in liaison with stakeholders on the project 
  • Own the design of Salesforce and (optionally) other affiliated solutions for Sales, Service, and platform solutions   
  • Contribute to and review user stories and other requirements documentation  
  • Ensure success and acceptance criteria are defined for each story 
  • Ensure documentation of the steps for testing  
  • Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of Salesforce   
  • Collaborative project and workstream planning 

Minimu Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience leading successful Salesforce implementation
  • 5 years of experience communicating complicated data, architecture, and development topics clearly to decision-making bodies and senior leadership for Salesforce implementations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field
  • Salesforce implementation experience with at least ten implementations  
  • Salesforce experience with CRM use cases with preferences in recruiting and onboarding HR type of business function
