What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-SOAS Civil/Industrial Analyst, you will support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific and engineering research, capability and limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis and characterizations, facility, and vulnerability assessments. This includes, but not limited to, civil and industrial engineering and sub-disciplines of environmental, power system, pipeline, petroleum, structural, manufacturing, geotechnical, transportation, highway, material science, seismic / earthquake, construction, hydrology, and water resource engineering. You will collaboratively integrate analytic results findings or production with other related analytic efforts and assessments. You will analyze and estimate designs, specifications, technical requirements, and structural elements for control systems and infrastructure for nuclear, chemical, and biological facility/infrastructure.
More About the Role:
You will estimate and analyze power monitoring and control, energy management monitoring and control, the transport network and various required hardware, components, software, and applications to ensure an industrial production or refinement of target materials and capabilities. You will analyze Foreign Defense Critical Infrastructure to evaluate the requirement and capability of control systems, identify vulnerabilities and threats. You will get to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of emerging and disruptive technologies currently and as they develop. You will get to demonstrate your mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology. You will get to demonstrate the ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks. You will use your in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organization and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulate key findings in relation to emerging and/or disruptive technologies. You will use your ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions and routinely test analytic rigor of products.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Desired Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years relevant to civil or industrial analysis.
- Desired Education: Master’s degree in related field (civil engineering, construction engineering technology, or electrical engineering) from a college or university accredited by a an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (civil engineering, construction engineering technology, or electrical engineering) from a college or university accredited by a an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute for the Master’s degree.
- Understanding of JP 3-40, JP 3-25, ICD 203, and ICD 206
- You must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.
- Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Desired Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 5 years relevant to civil or industrial analysis.
- Desired Education: Doctorate degree in related field (civil engineering, construction engineering technology, or electrical engineering) from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
