Office Assistant (Part Time) (Multiple Positions)

Office Assistants should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and highly collaborative environment. This position requires consistent and open communication with the learning specialists, academic counseling staff, coordinators, and student employees as well as knowledge of NCAA and Big 12 Conference guidelines and regulations. Required to work evenings and/or weekends, as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities- Scheduling various appointment types and assisting the Program Coordinator with the management of appointment change requests throughout each academic term
- Learn and manage multiple communication and scheduling platforms to update academic counselors, learning specialists, and coordinators accordingly
- Work collaboratively with coordinators, academic counselors, learning specialists, and part-time staff
- Maintain accuracy when reporting data and information
- Promptly communicate with supervisor and team regarding work matters
- Provide feedback to Program Coordinator when needed regarding office initiatives
- Attend all training workshops and staff meetings
- Assist Program Coordinator with external operations duties, including, but not limited to creating graphics for communications
- Provide excellent customer service and support for students, staff, faculty, and visitors
- Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts is expected
- Available to provide support when needed
- Maintain a high level of integrity
- Complete desk related duties as needed
- Researching and addressing departmental and programmatic areas of need
- Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of NCAA compliance rules.
- Ability to work between 16-19 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Required to work evenings and/or weekends, as needed.
- Previous experience in athletics, education or work with high school and college-aged students.
- Two years of work experience in area of assigned discipline or equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education.
