Software Engineering & Development (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, MA): Will serve in a hands-on development position utilizing a proven record of database software development and execution excellence. Specific duties of the position include: Deploying high performing, quality/bug-free code in production; Executing unit tests of data populated in target data container, validating the expected
result, and ensuring quality and accuracy; Coordinating with business users for User Acceptance Testing and with Operations team for code deployment to upper environments; Following change management team stipulations on path to production requirements and strictly adhering to the compliance and regulatory needs; Collaborating with cross functional team members as necessary and producing optimal solutions that meet data demands and standards; Participating in technical design, application build, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment; Providing technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners; Demonstrating strong experience in Oracle RDBMS and Snowflake; Demonstrating strong expertise in implementing data integration solutions for multiple platforms in enterprise; and Acting in accordance with Risk Excellence and exhibiting role model Ethical behavior and decision making as part of our Way Ahead foundation. Hybrid telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; plus 8 years of experience in software engineering / IT / Tech management.
Must have: Proven experience working on enterprise application architecture and development; Proven experience in Agile delivery and adhering to SDLC processes; Strong communication (verbal and written) both internally and with vendors; Proven success and ability to work in a high pressured and time sensitive environment; Demonstrated strong ability in RDBMS databases/Oracle, ETL suites, and Middleware components including Application Server and Messaging interface; Demonstrated strong experience in solution delivery for reconciliations and demonstrated skilled knowledge of different financial products; Proven expertise in end-to-end infrastructure and platform management spanning multiple technology stacks; and Established history of managing teams and driving delivery of critical product implementations. Salary Range:
$178,131 - $195,944 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
