This posting is for a unionized contractual YEARLONG appointment that spans one academic year. A Teaching Assistant is a McGill Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary:
This requisition is for one yearlong position, at 90 hours per term, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology. Fall course dates are August 28, 2024 to December 4, 2024 and for Winter January 6, 2024 to April 11, 2024. Effective dates of appointment for Fall are August 28, 2022 to December 11, 2024 and for Winter are January 6, 2024 to April 18, 2024.

Qualifications:-

• Ph.D. Student (School/Applied Child Psychology Program)

• Advanced understanding of assessment and testing materials

• Background in the subject matter of the course (prior successful
  completion of the School/Applied Psychology section of EDSP 609
  and EDSP 610 or equivalent)

• Knowledge of French may be required
