The Printing & Process Specialist is a highly skilled technician whose primary focus will be to assist Bobst and the customer in efforts to develop training to implement, coordinate and execute methodologies which support customer satisfaction. The Printing & Process Specialist will provide outstanding customer service; enhance client relationships; and provide suggestions for process and product training improvements.

They will be able to analyze current production processes to identify areas for efficiency improvement, work with the customer to optimize the use of production equipment and streamline operations and suggest modifications or upgrades to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

  • 90% TRAVEL REQUIRED – Candidates must have flexibility to travel extensively throughout US and Canada. Ideal candidate located within 1 hour from a major international airport.
Principle Responsibilities:
Machine Service (electrical & mechanical), including the repair and installation of new machines, relocation of existing equipment, customer training, preventative maintenance, ordering parts necessary to perform installations and repair, troubleshooting problems and proactively recommend the necessary service and maintenance programs Key Skills & Attributes:
This role is perfect for you if you have had prior experience in –
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the packaging industry or finishing converting industry working as a trainer in Flexographic printing.
  • Have expert-level knowledge in both mechanical and electrical processes.
  • Traveling to customer sites to provide hands-on technical support and training.

Education:
  • Technical school or college related to Technology Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
