CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Description

 As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be critical in providing compassionate care to patients in a healthcare setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring their health and vital signs, and reporting any changes to a registered nurse or physician. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and communicating effectively with other members of the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring patients' health and vital signs
- Reporting any changes in the patient's condition to a registered nurse or physician
- Setting up medical equipment and assisting with medical procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team
- Documenting patients' care and progress in medical records

Qualifications:
- Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

Hourly Pay Rates:
- Day Shift: - $17-$19 /hour based on experience plus $3.20/hour MI Hazard pay 
- Night Shift: $17- $19/hour based on Experience, with an additional $2/hour shift diff plus $3.20/hour MI Hazard Pay
