Senior DevOps Engineer

Novacura North America, Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks Senior DevOps Engineer to:

• Ensure standardized software development and delivery build process pipeline is in place and collaborate with architects and quality assurance engineers on automation and infrastructure related topics;
• Engage in the development and maintenance of the build process pipeline utilizing detailed knowledge of product source code and how source code gets compiled into product sub-component;
• Create process documentation and white papers around cloud and infrastructure processes including how customer data is managed and secured, how to connect from the cloud to their systems to ensure secure connections, and how data destruction is handled;
• Conduct cloud onboarding and offboarding, deployment, and upgrade (cloud, hosted, and on-perm) for customer use;
• Serve as lead member of the global Cloud Operations team that handles the onboarding, software deployments, and upgrades for customers;
• Handle network configuration tasks such as sub-domain registration, IP white-listing, and VPN tunnel setup;
• Support customer deployment including determining the hardware and network requirements to support the customer’s anticipated user load, recommending security configurations, network configurations, and how to implement backup and recovery procedures;
• Own environment ticket queue and alert escalation for deployment, upgrade and additional resources requests;
• Maintain knowledge of cloud technologies and industry trends, and lead colleagues on the incorporation of new trends and techniques;
• Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues and new engineers;
• Deploy knowledge of software development and delivery for cloud-based low code solutions including utilizing Cloud/SaaS technologies;
• Low code platform development and installation, Enterprise Resource Planning architecture;
• Creating standard operating procedures for cloud and infrastructure processes;
• Creating user documentation and training material for Cloud and Infrastructure processes;
• Handling product source code;

Position reports to company office in Raleigh, NC. Must work in Raleigh, NC office approximately 2 days per week. Telecommuting from anywhere in U.S. is permitted approximately 3 days per week.

Qualifications and skills

• Position requires Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or related field. Will accept foreign educational equivalent.
• Position requires 2 years of software development and delivery experience for cloud-based low code solutions including 2 years of experience working with each of the following:
- Utilizing Cloud/SaaS technologies;
- Low code platform development and installation;
- Enterprise Resource Planning architecture;
- Creating standard operating procedures for cloud and infrastructure processes;
- Creating user documentation and training material for Cloud and Infrastructure processes; and Handling product source code.

Experience could have been gained in any job title.

Position reports to company office in Raleigh, NC. Must work in Raleigh, NC office approximately 2 days per week. Telecommuting from anywhere in U.S. is permitted approximately 3 days per week.
