Leadership & Strategic Alignment:

  • Direct and oversee CBG workstream check-ins, ensuring initiatives align with transformative corporate objectives and approved forecasts.
  • Facilitate alignment workshops, resolving interdependencies, addressing risks, and ensuring deliverables meet established targets.
  • Introduce SWAT teams early in strategic initiatives to grasp project "whys" and create actionable project plans.
  • Leverage key influential networkers to gather informal insights during stakeholder interactions.
  • Strengthen connections with MOC (Management of Change) meetings to provide stakeholders with a broader transformative context.

Program & Financial Management:

  • Lead end-to-end value realization efforts, identifying financial gaps and proposing new initiatives to bridge those gaps.
  • Coordinate business case development to ensure consistent savings assumptions, baseline validations, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage critical project reporting (systems TBD), ensuring operational execution aligns with planned financial projections.
  • Conduct dependency checks to avoid inefficiencies or delays caused by process gaps.

Governance & Reporting:

  • Manage Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions (RAID) logs across initiatives to mitigate derailments, escalating significant risks where necessary.
  • Develop and execute structured and empathetic communication protocols tailored for leadership progress, project barriers, and financial attainment updates.
  • Use governance frameworks designed not only for strategic productivity goals but also for minimizing business disruption.
  • Directly address project detractors by reallocating roles where inefficiencies arise, streamlining process improvements.

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Champion integration of change management systems and best practices into CBG projects.
  • Conduct quarterly pulse surveys (leveraging tools like 3M Navigator) to assess and act upon team feedback effectively.
  • Model and publicly recognize desired behavior shifts to drive change adoption.
  • Offer structured support to leaders and teams during challenging transitions, recognizing the emotional and operational impact of organizational evolution.
  • Collaborate with HR/Finance/Legal and other integral partners to deliver objectives while minimizing service disruptions during plan evolution.

Enablement & Tools:

  • Define with HR and finance specific tools (headcount file, financial tracking file) to monitor, measure, and optimize project outcomes.
  • Prioritize upskilling teammates for career advancements that align with visionary goals.
  • Continuously refine project methodologies and train stakeholders in effective implementation practices.
  • Eliminate outdated tools or roles that reinforce unproductive behaviors to enable smoother transitions.
