You’ll help Strava’s team meet a high talent bar while also maintaining our positive and inclusive culture as we scale. This is an individual contributor role, although you will play a crucial role as a mentor and coach for our People Team, and you’ll partner with leaders across Strava to help them become their best.

We’re a fast-growing, global company with soon to be 600+ employees and 9 offices around the world. Our culture is rooted in teamwork, connection, and striving together. If you are passionate about creating a world connected through movement, and cultivating a healthy, happy and absolutely lights-out team – this is your opportunity.

  • Serve a versatile and highly cross functional partner to the Chief People Officer to help shape and execute all facets of our People strategy, supporting high-growth, excellence, organizational velocity, and a thriving, global culture
  • Lead a variety of strategic, cross-functional projects that improve how we operate—such as organizational design and effectiveness, workforce planning, performance programs, communication and change management, and culture initiatives
  • Partner with peers across the People Leadership Team to achieve alignment and excellence in our team and culture
  • Measure the impact of our work through data, uncover insights that can help us become better, and then action those insights across the organization
  • Lead annual strategic planning processes, and ensure our team is always moving Strava’s broader objectives forward
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to our People Team and leaders across Strava, helping people be their very best

What You’ll Bring

  • 15+ years of People leadership experience across a variety of functions, ideally including time the most senior People leader at a growing company
  • A strong track record of leading strategic, company-wide initiatives with measurable impact
  • Creativity, agility, perspective, trustworthiness, and grit – as well as acting with urgency and getting after the opportunity ahead. A sense of humor is an added plus
  • High business acumen and fluency in data and metrics—you use insights to fuel change and measure progress
  • Deep empathy, curiosity, and a coaching expertise — you build trust fluently across teams and are motivated by helping others thrive
  • A strong commitment to inclusion, deep respect for people and their varied lived experiences, and a passion for building places where everyone feels seen, heard and valued
