$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Imperial Beach Community Clinic (IBCC) and the Nestor Community Health Center are Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) that provides community-based primary care services to low-income residents of the South Bay area. CRF staff members provide psychosocial assessment, psychiatric services, and ongoing mental health services, co-located within IBCC, to their patients. Services are delivered according to the Behavioral Health Consultant and Integrated Primary Care and Behavioral Health Services model. Respect for the client is a core value, and our staff members work closely with all clients to develop individualized plans that are short-term, solution-focused, and focus on their strengths, needs and abilities. We view the community as holding a wealth of knowledge, experience, and opportunities to help clients move toward improved health and stability. We encourage family involvement where possible and appropriate.
Qualification/Skills Requirement
The ideal candidate is a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Experience working in a fast-paced work environment and primary care setting is a plus.
- The ideal candidate is a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in good standing with licensing board.
- Experience working in a fast-paced work environment and primary care setting is a plus.
- S/he must also be bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Must enjoy working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
- Must enjoy working with individuals who are homeless and have severe mental illness.
- Provides treatment to adults, adolescents, and children
- Expertise in Trauma Informed Care and evidence-based PTSD treatments.
- Comfort with Telehealth counseling via phone and video and ability to transition to in person visits when safe and appropriate.
