JOB OPPORTUNITY: FIELD RECRUITER/PROJECT STAFF

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

PART-TIME: 10 hours/week

Salary: $20/hour (45 weeks)

 

Study Title: Youth Mental Health Treatment Cascade

Principal Investigator: Michelle Munson

Job Description: Support the Youth Mental Health Treatment Cascade study by recruiting and orienting participants, collaborating on outreach materials, and contributing to broader project engagement efforts.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate on designing project materials
• Field recruitment of potential study participants
• Orient potential participants to the purpose and process of the study
• Do literature reviews
• Attend team meetings

Performance Evaluation Procedures

The staff member will meet with the Project Coordinator and other team members, as needed, on a regular basis to review completed tasks and plan next activities. During these contacts the staff member will also discuss professional development goals.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

• Highschool diploma/GED required
  • Community college or college experience preferred
• Experience with community-based programs
• Strong relational skills needed for research study recruitment
  • Introduce the project, answer questions
• High level of attention to detail, flexibility, ability to work on a team
