Transportation Specialist III - Schematic Team Lead - (2602152) 
Position Information 

The TxDOT Houston District is seeking a qualified Transportation Specialist III to serve as a Team Lead within the Schematic Section. This position provides advanced technical expertise and coordination for the development of roadway schematics and project development activities supporting transportation improvement projects throughout the Houston District. The selected candidate will serve as a lead worker and technical resource responsible for coordinating in-house schematic development efforts, mentoring staff, managing project assignments, and supporting project delivery from planning through PS&E development. This position will utilize OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and related software applications to develop roadway schematics, project exhibits, and preliminary geometric layouts while working closely with the Environmental Section, Design, Traffic, Right of Way, Utilities, and Project Management personnel. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transportation professional seeking a leadership role while remaining actively engaged in project development and delivery.

 

Salary (Pay Basis)

: 54,278.00  

Maximum Salary

: 87,046.00  Yearly FLSA Status: Nonexempt
