We are looking for a Mammography Technologist who is compassionate with patient’s in a high level busy dept.  Helping RIS team build schedules, protocols, preps for new locations. Monitoring those same criteria for existing sites. Assisting women’s imaging team with projects. Helping to onboard new mammo techs. Our Breast Center is listed as Breast Center of Excellence.

 

LOCATION:

  • Banner Imaging Greeley   - 2001 70th Ave, Suite 102, Greeley, CO 80634

SHIFTS:

  • Full Time- 40 Hours
  • 8 hour shifts
  • 6:30am-5:30pm
  • Monday-Friday

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

  • Will perform mammography screening, diagnostics (if or when trained US breast and Stereotactic biopsies), assist the associate director to ensure employees are scheduled appropriately, look at patient schedules for proficiency, monitor and assist digital records, work as a team with the nursing staff and radiologists.
  •  Keep the facility up to date on MQSA/ACR for mammography. Assist with outside events including Tough Enough to Wear Pink Rodeo, Human Bean Coffee for a Cure, Weld Project Connect and others that come up.
  • On average each technologist does 13-15 patients per day.
  • We currently have 3 mammography rooms and 3 mammographers, with a 4th that does DEXA on some days. 
  • We have a radiologist daily, a nurse and an MA along with help from US breast.
  • Expected to have 60% technologist time and 40% administrative time.

EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE:

  •  Hologic mammography machines as of 2024
  • Volpara Patient Hub and have access to Volpara for technologist technique

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Mammography Certified, Preferred cross-trained to US breast, Stereotactic biopsy. 
  • Experienced in ACR/MQSA.
  • Experienced mammographer that is proficient with their skills, organized and a team player. Will assist Associate Director with schedules for patients and staff, be the lead for the department including mammographers, digital records, Medical Assistants and Registered Nurses.
