About the opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Systems Analyst Principal, the Senior Financial Analyst – Cash Flow & Consolidation plays a critical role in managing the company’s cash flow forecasting, month-end and year-end financial reporting, and consolidated financial analysis. This role partners closely with Accounting, Treasury, AP, AR, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights.
As Dayforce transitions from a public company to private equity ownership, this role will be instrumental in strengthening financial rigor, improving processes, and evolving reporting to support a new operating model. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-changing environment, takes ownership end-to-end, and brings a strong blend of technical accounting knowledge, financial modeling, and business partnership.

What you'll get to do
• Cash Flow Forecasting & Reporting
◦ Support the cash flow forecasting process, including short-term and long-range cash outlooks.
◦ Partner closely with Treasury, AP, AR, and Accounting to incorporate working capital drivers, debt activity, and operational assumptions.
◦ Analyze variances between forecast and actuals, clearly explaining drivers and implications.
◦ Continuously improve cash forecasting accuracy, methodology, and transparency.
• Month-End, Quarter-End & Year-End Reporting
◦ Support and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
◦ Consolidate and review management reporting, including Flash, monthly and quarterly CFO packs, SRP, and ad-hoc requests.
◦ Ensure alignment between FP&A reporting and Accounting results, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
◦ Develop clear narratives around results, trends, and variances — not just the numbers.
• Business Partnership & Collaboration
◦ Serve as a trusted finance partner to Accounting, Treasury, AP, AR, and other FP&A teams.
◦ Collaborate cross-functionally to align assumptions, timelines, and outputs across financial processes.
◦ Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and special projects.
• Process Improvement & Change Management
◦ Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes, including automation and simplification opportunities.
◦ Support system enhancements and financial tool improvements in partnership with Technology teams.
◦ Help adapt reporting and processes to meet the needs of a private equity ownership model, including increased rigor, speed, and clarity.
Skills and experience we value
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, IT or Business.
• 2-3 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting or Financial Reporting, with strong exposure to cash flow and Systems.
• Solid understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow mechanics and interdependencies.
• Strong interest and some experience with financial systems, ideally OneStream or Adaptive
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain financial results to both finance and non-finance partners.
