We are looking for an Operational Excellence Summer Intern to support Sanofi manufacturing Systems (SMS) and Manufacturing 4.0 (Digital) initiatives led by this department to support the Swiftwater site. The department is currently focused on modernization, simplification, and standardization to increase the use of Digital tools.

The Intern will benefit from mentoring, coaching and side-by-side engagement with knowledgeable and experienced industry experts. Candidates will receive a hands-on learning experience with the opportunity to learn how new digital projects are implemented that integrate globally with our other Sanofi sites. They will gain experience with data collection and implementation of standardized tools to be used across several manufacturing areas. The Intern will also learn how to read and interpret functional and design documents, learn basic project management skills, create reporting tools to collect data, and work on presentation skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assignments will vary based on the needs of the current implementations in progress including attendance at project meetings, issue resolution, presentations, documentation organization and communications.

• The candidate will be exposed to a wide variety of departments including Manufacturing, Quality Validation, Digital, Data Science, Supply Chain, and Global Business Process Owners.

• Our intern program will challenge and develop your technical, business, leadership, and communication skills. The experience learned during the internship can be applied to future career opportunities.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer/data science, or other related scientific field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027

• Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship with Sanofi

• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the internship

• Must have permanent US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), TEAMs and SharePoint

• Strong analytical, technical and organizational skills with attention to detail

• Willing to work independently

• Experience with Lean/Productivity improvement programs

• Experience with Microsoft PowerBi a plus.
