We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL Driver & Warehouse Order Packer to join our dynamic Shipping and Receiving team. This role combines the responsibilities of a commercial truck driver with hands-on warehouse duties, ensuring efficient and accurate transport, loading, and unloading of goods at our distribution center and manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class A CDL, proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and powered equipment such as forklifts and order pickers, and experience in warehousing operations.

The Role – What You’ll Do!

  

  • Truck Driving:
    • Operate manual transmission trucks and trailers to transport goods between our manufacturing plant, distribution center, and off-site storage locations.
    • Operate manual transmission trucks and trailers to deliver/pick-up subcontracted manufactured parts to/from vendors.
    • Communicate effectively with the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and team members to understand and meet delivery and transport requirements.
    • Secure parts and products in trucks and trailers to ensure safe transport.
    • Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
    • Obey all applicable traffic laws and adapt driving to weather and road conditions.
    • Perform daily OSHA-required inspections of trucks and trailers, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.


  • Warehouse Operations:
    • Load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts, other equipment, or by hand as needed, including handling excessive length packed pallets and larger parts.
    • Learn and maintain a working knowledge of the ERP (Epicor) Warehouse Management System to assist in accurate packing, receiving, and loading of product/orders.
    • Use forklifts and/or order pickers to consolidate parts and move orders within the distribution center.


Qualifications That Move Us!

  

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) required
  • Two or more years of proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred
  • Clean driving record with no moving violations
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
  • Alert, focused and possesses the ability to lift to 75 lbs.
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures
