This position follows a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule, providing an excellent work-life balance. The Hospitalist will be responsible for managing inpatient care, coordinating with specialists, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:• Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists, nurses, and case managers.• Perform rounds, evaluate patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees as needed.• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  

• Board certified and licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia

 

• Current DEA registration

 

• BLS certification is required
