About the role

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must have a working knowledge of ISO, AISC, and ASME quality systems
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s quality management systems to align with current quality systems requirements.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the company’s quality systems, meeting standard requirements and legal regulations.
  • Work with 3rd party registrars and auditors for scheduling and responses to external audits.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness of the quality systems.
  • Collaborate with departments to guide and train personnel on ISO, AISC, and ASME processes and procedures while raising awareness and ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Develop, schedule, and perform quality training for ISO and AISC.
  • Analyze and propose improvement measures to enhance the efficiency of the quality management systems.
  • Support the development, updating, and completion of internal processes and regulations related to ISO, AISC, and ASME.
  • Prepare, send out for review, and release controlled documents.
  • Monitor, create, and assist in processing NCRs, SCARS, and CAPAs

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

  • Microsoft Office software
  • Computers and office equipment

ROLE REQUIREMENTS: 

At least 3 years' experience working with ISO 9001.

Internal Auditor experience

Experience in implementing, maintaining and improving quality systems within enterprises

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and improvement skills 

Excellent written & verbal communication skills along with excellent grammar skills. 

Excel in organizational skills with the ability to prioritize when performing multiple tasks for different departments.

Ability to meet predefined deadlines while withstanding related pressure and stress that may occur in an active office environment.

Ability to work independently.

Be thorough and attentive to detail in all job tasks.

Capable of wearing PPE when in shop area, including safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection and safety shoes.

Ability to communicate & work with all types of people effectively in a team setting.

Follow all established safety rules and procedures.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Perform other duties as assigned.
