Job Details:

This position starts at $18.30/hr. (plus $.50 premium for 2nd shift positions).    

 

 

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Position Description: 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for working in an environment that produces ready to eat corndogs.  

• Packing corndogs  

• Inspecting product 

• Placing packed boxes of product onto conveyor belts 

• Monitor labeling, wrapping, and code dates on boxes. 

• Perform repetitive hand movements. 

• Perform other work duties as assigned by supervisor. 

• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. 

• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements 

Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable. May use SAP System if transferred /rotated. 

 

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation 

 

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Must have ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.) 

• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. 

• Must be able to reach high above shoulders and low levels, frequently. 

• Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally. 

• Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 10 pounds frequently and ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs. occasionally. 

• Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs. 

• Must be able to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day. 

• Repetitive gripping, pinching, and counting.
