Primary Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in response to the planned expansion of our infusion center hours. This position is essential to supporting increased patient volume and ensuring consistent, high-quality outpatient care for patients and families. The APP will play a key role in overseeing patient safety, coordinating timely evaluations and interventions, and improving access to care during extended infusion hours. 

This is a per diem role. The APP will work Saturday and Sundays 8 am - 5 pm

Salary: $93.95/hourly

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in a PA Program-required
  • CA PA License-required
  • National PA Board certification -required
  •  NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment on CURES- required
  • Min of three (3) years of relevant oncology exp- required ( 3 years- Pediatric Onc exp preferred)
  •  BLS from AHA or ARC- required
  • PALS Certification - required
  • Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs-required
  •  Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required
  • Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required
  • Ability to set priorities-required
  • Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required
  • Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required
