Job Summary:

Provides pediatric cardiology care with a focus on regional outreach clinics across Colorado’s Western Slope. This role supports access to specialty care in underserved communities by delivering outpatient services, maintaining continuity of care, and collaborating with referring providers and the Heart Institute team. Responsibilities align up to a 0.2 clinical FTE and support the Institute’s regional outreach strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

·         Deliver outpatient pediatric cardiology care in outreach clinic settings

·         Conduct approximately 40 clinic sessions annually

·         Travel for ~8 outreach clinic trips per year (Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs, Montrose)

·         Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pediatric cardiac conditions

·         Interpret non-invasive cardiac diagnostics (e.g., ECG, echocardiography)

·         Collaborate with community providers and coordinate follow-up care

·         Document clinical care and support care continuity across sites

 

Work Location:

Onsite this role is expected to be onsite and is based at pediatric cardiology outreach locations on Colorado’s Western Slope.
