As a Security Officer Armed Patrol - Swing Shift in Pharr, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon12:00 PM - 11:30 PMWed12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance to staff, customers, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Level III armed certification if required by the state of Texas.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
