What does an Finance Business Partner do?
The Finance Business Partner will work closely with the FP&A Americas Team and various stakeholders to provide quantitative and qualitative analyses of all operational aspects of the fast-growing Americas organization to evaluate the company’s progress toward achieving its goals and to map out future goals and plans. A strategic mindset, keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
This position will report to the Sr. Manager, FP&A Americas and will have several areas of focus including:
- Support the growth in the company’s lounge portfolio, both domestically and South America, along with partnership expansion
- Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting
- Business Intelligence, Insights, and Analytics
- Operational Finance Support and Business Planning
What You'll do?
- Analyze complex financial information to identify underlying business drivers and trends to deliver improved profitability
- Provide financial insights and intelligence to support decision-making and operational improvements
- Develop and advance KPI reporting
- Support monthly business reviews with internal stakeholders and joint venture partners
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting activities
- Develop, update, and maintain financial models and reports
- Support transformation of the finance organization and continuous process improvement efforts
- Participate in department specific and cross-functional ad-hoc projects and initiatives
- Responsible for reporting and analysis of lounge daily guest volumes
- Manage the Americas Construction, Operations, and Refurb Capex forecasts in conjunction with internal stakeholders
What You'll Need?
- Experience creating budgets & forecasts
- Demonstrated advanced Microsoft Excel financial model development skills
- Experience synthesizing and communicating analyses and reporting; providing insights
- Collaborates effectively across internal and external teams, at all levels, fostering empowerment and involvement
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to distil complex issues for understanding
- Proactive self-starter, capable of adapting to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects with a sense of urgency
- Ability to organize and manage large data sets, apply strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems
- Understanding of GAAP
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business or Finance (or relevant field) required
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive work experience in accounting or financial analysis: or any combination
- Must be authorized to work in U.S.
