Assistant Stewarding Manager-Banquets (Caesars Palace LV)

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides overall supervision of the Stewards department, including planning, scheduling, organizing, execution and evaluation of kitchen and banquet functions on an assigned shift.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Provides adequate training and tools for employees so they may effectively perform necessary job duties.

·         Makes frequent inspections to maintain proper standard of storing, handling and maintenance of industrial chemicals, kitchen and banquet equipment.

·         Ensures all function areas are kept clean and in proper condition to provide a safe working environment for employees.

·         Inputs work orders and order cleaning supplies.

·         Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·         Three years back-of-the-house experience in stewarding required.

·         Must have prior experience in all phases of kitchen administrative work and knowledge of all kitchen equipment and industrial chemicals.

·         Must be certified in food sanitation and knowledgeable in all phases of banquets.

·         Must possess excellent customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

·         Knowledge of computers is helpful.

·         Must be able to work flexible hours.

·         Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.

·         Must present a well-groomed appearance.
