The Musco IT Team is seeking a Power Platform Developer to work from our Oskaloosa or Muscatine, Iowa campus. As a Power Platform Developer, you will assist in the design, development, and implementation of applications and workflows within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. You will collaborate directly with business units to identify automation opportunities, build solutions that optimize business processes, and support the growth of our digital initiatives. What you will do as a Power Platform Developer
- Develop and maintain custom solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven apps) to address business needs.
- Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate (including approvals, notifications, data integration, and process optimization).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate Power Apps with external data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, and APIs.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of applications and workflows ensuring accuracy and performance.
- Create detailed documentation for applications, processes, and end-user support.
- Support existing Power Platform solutions by maintaining, updating, and enhancing existing apps and workflows.
- Participate in Power Platform training initiatives to support internal knowledge growth and adoption.
What you need to be successful
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience working with Dataverse or SQL databases.
- Familiarity with DAX and Power BI integration for reporting solutions.
- Basic knowledge of JSON, REST APIs, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of security roles and permissions within the Power Platform ecosystem.
