FanDuel is looking for a Lead Product Manager to focus on emerging opportunities and technologies within sportsbook – researching, prototyping and experimenting on complex topics such as AI, NLP, social betting, loyalty. If you’re a strong product leader with an interest in playing a critical role on projects with the potential to disrupt the sports betting industry and create long-term competitive advantage for FanDuel, this may be the role for you
THE GAME PLAN

- People Manager – clearly defined roles, objective performance management, talent development and engagement. Establish and embody a high-performing Emerging Products team
- Evangelize product vision, strategy, objectives, and key results, achieving buy-in from key stakeholders, working across business to ensure alignment, manage dependencies, and secure resources, and driving and influencing role of product in larger strategy
- Inform, shape, and drive execution of market leading product initiatives
- Establish outcome led practices, bringing voice of customer to delivery team
- Define product success criteria, including identifying new levers that may drive overall business success
- Assess product opportunities and lead ideation and prioritization for new iterations and products
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing and operational functions to lead successful product releases and post-launch optimizations
- Lead communication on the product outcomes, strategy and learnings to organizational stakeholders
- Provide system for leveraging experimentation and research to innovate
- Develop a deep understanding of the drivers of our Sportsbook business and the competitor, partner and supplier landscape at large
- Demonstrate innovative thinking, identifying new opportunities for product based on experimentation, research, competitive analysis, and consumer feedback
- Strongly represent Sportsbook Product & Pricing team on appropriate forums or projects with executive, senior colleagues and key stakeholders
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience as a product manager or similar role required
- Considerable experience leading teams and managing projects
- Proven track record of delivering successful and innovative products
- Knowledge and implementation experience of modern product practices and experimentation strategies
- Experience coaching, mentoring or managing others
- Proven ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables
