Senior Project Manager

<h2>Job Purpose</h2> <p>Senior Project Manager manages all assigned localization projects in the most efficient manner possible in order to ensure client retention, satisfaction and ultimately repeats revenue growth. Through effective written and verbal communication ensures that project teams are clear to the scope, complexity and expectations of clients for all projects and that the clients are kept fully informed as to the progress, position and financial status of their projects. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About Enterprise Services </strong> The Enterprise Services enables customers to reach their markets in any language and scale. We provide a wealth of services including localization, data services, testing, video, consulting and much more.   Our global team of localization and technical experts work closely with customers building lasting partnerships that help make their products and services reach and resonate with their end users.  </p> <p>It is a fast-paced and exciting business with many opportunities to work on state-of-the-art products and services for some of the world’s most innovative businesses.   </p> <h2>Job Overview</h2> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Use all your project management knowledge and skills and apply them in a creative way to both to maintain high standard of project delivery and to improve its current set up</li> <li>Deliver projects to client expectations and achieve the optimal profitability of the project(s)</li> <li>Closely monitor and control project financials through budgets, invoicing, and change orders</li> <li>Plan projects and implement best practices and processes</li> <li>Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal team members</li> <li>Host and lead conference calls with clients and team members as well as meeting them in person</li> <li>Develop and prepare process documents where required</li> <li>Conduct risk assessment and strategic planning of activities to minimize potential project issues</li> <li>Identify project/process improvement opportunities and work on improvements</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Types of projects you would be working on</strong></p> <ul> <li>All projects are aiming to train an AI model - apart from data annotations, evaluations clearly focused on AI training, even traditional localization projects (TEP/MTEP) are focused on model training.</li> <li>We deal with different modalities - our client is moving from text to images, audio and video.</li> <li>We do have recurring projects, but in general, the majority of our projects are new and different from the rest.</li> <li>Due to this fact, we rarely have processes set up and they need to be created from scratch or at least recycled from older projects - guidelines adjusted, new resources hired, UI created, complex trackings prepared. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>English language skills are needed at C1 level </li> <li>Excellent communication skills (this is a client facing role)</li> <li>Previous experience with leading localization project is necessary</li> <li>Previous experience managing managing client relationship</li> <li>Good level of understanding of the O365 product suite</li> <li>Ability to work with tools supporting teamwork</li> <li>Organizational skills</li> <li>Analytical and problem solving abilities</li> <li>Attention to details and ability to work under pressure</li> </ul> <h2>Life at RWS</h2> <p>At RWS, we’re here for one purpose: unlocking global understanding.</p> <p> </p> <p>As a unique, world-leading provider of technology-enabled language, content, and intellectual property services, we remove the barriers to communication to make global connection possible.
