BAPS is now hiring a full-time customer support specialist in our Springfield, MA location.   

BAPS is an automotive paint and supply retailer that has been around for over 40 years, proudly serving our automotive industry, from big dealerships to your local family-owned auto repair shops.  We take great pride in providing the best customer service to our customers! 

BAPS provides on-the-job training and a supportive leadership team to help you succeed and excel within our company! 

Regular Business Hours:  Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.  

NO EVENINGS/WEEKENDS!!!

Hourly rate: $17.00

A day in the life of a Customer Support Specialist at BAPS can look like:

• Assist walk-in customer base with product and usage questions as well as sales needs
• Answer incoming phone calls and takes phone orders from customers while recording information accurately and with a positive and courteous demeanor
• Accurately process work through the company computer system to include but not limited to: purchase orders, work orders, customer invoices, etc.
• Unload merchandise from trucks and breaks down pallets/boxes
• Gather product to ship out to customers/vendors or transfer to other locations. Boxes up product and shrink wraps materials, ensures packaging meets shipping requirements
• Perform inventory counts to include checking physical inventory compared to computer generated count sheets
• Store merchandise on product shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, color or type of material
• Perform deliveries to customer locations while operating a company vehicle safely and following all state laws
• Perform paint mixing and color matching services
• Pull customer orders and processes special order items
• Keep counter area (station) safe, orderly and clean. Also participates in a cleaning routine for the store and warehouse
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer to include accepting payment and making change
• Assist store management team with end of day closing procedures
