Principal Project Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role:

As a Principal Project Engineer you will support development of AP1000 projects from initiation to completion overseeing project design and implementation ensuring excellence, cost efficiency, and adherence to project timelines. You will collaborate with teams, provide technical guidance, and promote improvement within the engineering function.

You will report to the Manager of Project Engineering for Poland AP1000. You will work hybrid based in Cranberry Woods, PA.

No relocation will be provided. We can consider candidates able to work without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Support development of engineering projects that align w/ company objectives and industry standards

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, encouraging innovation and best practices.

• Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery within scope.

• Collaborate with partners, including clients, vendors, and our teams, to ensure project requirements

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards relevant to engineering projects

• Find and address project risks, implementing proactive solutions to address challenges

• Conduct technical reviews, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations to increase project execution

• Promote process improvements and use of new technologies to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience

• Bachelors in engineering in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related

• 3+ years' specific to project engineering/management or equivalent roles of increased responsibilities

• Lead complex projects

• Project management methodologies, engineering principles, and industry regulations

• Tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Primavera, and PowerBI

• Collaboration abilities in diverse teams

• Interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification

• International travel to support the Poland Project development
