As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Bondurant, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Manage access control for employees, visitors, and vendors by verifying credentials and maintaining authorized entry to designated areas within the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and courteously with all personnel entering or exiting the premises.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related operations.
  • Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills to address and report issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for any irregularities or security-related concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management or Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and daily logs as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
