POSITION SPECIFICS

The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Hershey, PA is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator. This project is a multi-site study in which we have several recruitment sites in the Central Pennsylvania (Planned Parenthood) and Greater Philadelphia area (Philadelphia Women's Center).  It is essential that the Clinical Research Coordinator be at these recruitment locations 3-4 days per week during the recruitment period to assess eligibility, obtain consent, enroll, conduct phlebotomy and all other essential duties that pertain to patient visits.  During start up and close out, the Clinical Research Coordinator will be onsite at HMC, but may negotiate a hybrid remote schedule if preferred.  The Clinical Research Coordinator position will work closely with the Principal Investigator and all other study team personnel.  They will serve as the central contact for the 1324 planned study patients.  Their duties will most definitely have a direct impact on the core/essential operations, as they will be responsible for the day to day management and coordination of study visits and recruitment and retention of patients. They will be responsible for regulatory, adverse event reporting, and progress reporting along with the supervision of data entry and resolution of queries.  Experience needed for this position is Nursing, Phlebotomy, Research Management from initiation of project to close out of project. Passion for reproductive healthcare, evidence-based medicine, and access to care.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None
