Regulatory Reporting Accountant, Dublin

Role Title: Regulatory Reporting Accountant, Regulatory Reporting - CFO 

Location: Hybrid working, which will include a blend of onsite (Dublin) and remote working.

What is the Role:  

 

In Regulatory Reporting - CFO our strategic ambition is to be an exceptional regulatory reporting team, delivering complete accurate and timely regulatory reports to support our banking licences, customers and communities through the delivery of a comprehensive regulatory reporting service to all areas of the organisation. The role is an opportunity to play a significant part in meeting AIB strategic objectives and will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to influence AIB’s approach to meeting its regulatory reporting requirements in this fast-growing area. This role reports directly to a Regulatory Reporting manager within Finance.

 

 

Key accountabilities: 

• Production of monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports to customer and regulatory requirements and deadlines.

• Responsible for interpreting new and existing regulatory reporting requirements, for their application onto regulatory reporting systems. 

• Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained and that both internal & external customer requirements are addressed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines.   

• Responsible for controls and reconciliations that are within remit of the relevant role, ensuring that operational risk is minimised. 

• Participate in projects and initiatives so as to optimise processes thereby delivering efficiencies. Analyse and exploit the Enterprise Data Warehouse to achieve reporting efficiencies. 

• Participate in business projects and change initiatives as they arise, proposing workable business solutions where relevant, to ensure liquidity requirements are met. 

 

 

What you will bring: 

 

1. Third level degree, preferably in business / finance / accounting or a discipline evidencing solid numeracy.

1. Professional Qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CFA), ideally with 1-3 years’ experience working in a finance or finance reporting role.
