Position Description:
Purpose: The Clinical Specialists provides clinical pharmacy services to the inpatients and outpatients of the Medical University Hospitals and clinics. Pharmacists provide supervision of pharmacy technicians per South Carolina Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Requirements:

The position of Clinical Pharmacy Specialist requires a doctoral degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy
Completion of a two-year ASHP accredited clinical pharmacy residency program or equivalent pharmacy experience
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS (If applicable to position):
SC Pharmacist License (or eligible for SC Pharmacist License)
Board certification or equivalent credentials within three years of second-year resident graduation
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Must be BLS Certified within three months of hire date and maintain certification throughout employment
