Senior Application Specialist - Fresh Fermented

<p><b>Requisition  ID : <span contenteditable="false">503349</span></b> </p> <h3><u><b>Job Description</b></u></h3> <p> </p> <p>IFF, a global leader in dairy solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fresh Fermented Senior Application Specialist to join our EMEA Cultures Application team in Brabrand, Denmark. As a Fresh Fermented Senior Application Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers and distributors in the fresh fermented industry, with a focus on the use of cultures and enzymes in production of fresh fermented foods. You will also collaborate with internal and external technical experts, understand, and communicate market trends, and identify new opportunities for IFF products and solutions. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team that is passionate about creating delicious and sustainable dairy products for consumers around the world.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Responsibilities</b></p> <p><br/> •    Work closely with customers and distributors to understand their needs and challenges and provide technical support and guidance on the use of IFF cultures and enzymes in fresh fermented production.<br/> •    Conduct trials, demonstrations, and trainings at customer sites or IFF facilities, and evaluate the performance and quality of fresh fermented products.<br/> •    Provide feedback and recommendations to customers and distributors on how to optimize their fresh fermented processes and formulations and troubleshoot any issues or complaints.<br/> •    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the fresh fermented industry, and position IFF as a trusted partner and solution provider.<br/> •    Collaborate with internal and external technical experts, such as R&amp;D, sales, marketing, and regulatory, to share knowledge, best practices, and insights on the fresh fermented market and applications.<br/> •    Monitor and communicate market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and new opportunities for IFF products and solutions in the fresh fermented segment.<br/> •    Participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars, and other events to promote IFF's fresh fermented capabilities and offerings.<br/> •    Travel throughout Europe to visit customers and distributors, and support IFF's fresh fermented cultures business.</p> <p> </p> <h3><u><b>Job Requirements</b></u></h3> <p> </p> <p><b>Qualifications</b></p> <p><br/> •    Master’s degree or equivalent in food science, dairy science, biotechnology, or related field.<br/> •    At least 5 years of experience in the fresh fermented industry and application, with knowledge of fresh fermented production processes, formulations, ingredients, and quality parameters.<br/> •    Expertise in the use of cultures and enzymes in fresh fermented production, and familiarity with IFF's portfolio of dairy solutions.<br/> •    Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.<br/> •    Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in English, Danish would be a plus.<br/> •    Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset.<br/> •    Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and adapt to different cultures and environments.</p> <p><br/>  </p> <p>We are a global leader in taste, scent and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
