Role DescriptionAs a Solutions Architect specializing in Retail/CPG, you will be responsible for translating complex business challenges into comprehensive data solutions for our portfolio of retail and consumer packaged goods clients. The role is the primary solution advisor, bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. You will develop solution frameworks that address critical business challenges such as unified commerce, demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, and customer experience enhancement.
Role OverviewThis position is accountable for solution design, business value realization, and strategic advisory services. The Solutions Architect must demonstrate deep understanding of retail/CPG business processes and effectively translate industry challenges into actionable solution roadmaps. You will guide clients through their data transformation journey while ensuring solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.
This is a customer-facing, billable role where you will work directly with clients to deliver strategic value. You will be expected to maintain billable utilization while building and nurturing client relationships, and travel at 25% is expected. Success in this role requires both the ability to deliver billable work and drive future opportunities within your client portfolio.
What We Are Looking ForWe expect the Solutions Architect to be a trusted advisor who understands the complete retail/CPG value chain and can architect solutions that drive business transformation. You should have established relationships at senior/executive client levels and be able to drive innovation in areas such as:
- Legacy data platform migrations- Data monetization- Supply chain visibility and optimization- Customer experience enhancement- Revenue growth management merchandising effectiveness- Market basket analysis and category management- Promotional effectiveness and trade management

Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients to understand their business challenges and strategic objectives
- Develop comprehensive solution roadmaps aligned with client business goals
- Create business cases and value realization frameworks
- Design scalable solutions that address end-to-end business processes
- Lead discovery workshops and solution ideation sessions
- Build compelling solution narratives and presentationsGuide clients through solution evaluation and selection
- Ensure solutions deliver measurable business outcomes
- Mentor delivery teams on retail/CPG domain expertise
- Drive innovation in retail-specific business solutions
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in retail/CPG solution delivery, with at least 5 years in solution architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
- Proven track record of designing and implementing transformative business solutions
- Strong understanding of retail/CPG business processes and value chains
- Experience with solution framework development and implementation
- Background in business process optimization and change management
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Experience building presales estimates, assets, and offerings
