About the RoleAs a Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of our mission, driving the development and enhancement of our SaaS product suite as it relates to federal government contracting. Your domain expertise will be crucial in understanding the challenges and opportunities in this industry, ensuring that our product remains competitive and impactful.
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead our government contracting and procurement product lines. Leadership Connect’s product managers serve as the voice of the customer, driving new product initiatives and ensuring continued value from existing services. As Product Manager, Government Procurement, you will be responsible for creating long and short-term product requirements, working with our data science and development resources to bring new products to market, owning the overall business model and pricing structure for your product lines, and determining the resource allocation needed to achieve your product’s goals. A deep knowledge of government procurement, especially federal acquisition, is required for success in this role.

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead our government contracting and procurement product lines. Leadership Connect’s product managers serve as the voice of the customer, driving new product initiatives and ensuring continued value from existing services. Core functions of the Role:
- Conduct in-depth market research and engage with government contractors to identify pain -points, needs, value adds, and market trends
- Create a lifecycle plan for the expansion of your product line, including key revenue targets, problems solved, and milestones needed to reach your goals
- Create a backlog of product requirements meant for development over the coming quarters
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate the roadmap into actionable features and enhancements
- Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation and planning to development, testing, and launch
- Identify prospects, collaborate on developing the business model for the product, and monitor sales and usage for opportunities
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and drive adoption across current users and prospects.
- Monitor industry regulations and policy changes that may impact the product's functionality or compliance.
- Alignment to our corporate values is a key to success in this role
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA a plus)
- Experience leading product initiatives, ideally in technology
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools is a plus
- Deep understanding of the government contracting space and procurement processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
