HCVT operates under a hybrid working model. Effective Jan 1, 2024, employees are expected to work at their assigned office a minimum of two days per week. In the event that this is not geographically reasonable, you may work in the office closest to your home. Additionally, we expect employees to participate in required firm events/meeting (e.g., trainings, team bonding, client meetings, etc.) JOB SUMMARYThis individual will contribute to the development and maintenance of proprietary applications. This position will provide the opportunity to participate in the full development life cycle and to sharpen their technical skills.

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams throughout software development lifecycle to develop applications and data processing tools
- Build high performance web and Windows UI; involved in selection and implementation of future framework
- Use and improve existing software development frameworks, principles and processes
- Support client on-boarding and on-going maintenance/support
We expect that our Application Developer will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field required; accounting education/experience a plus
- 0-2+ years developing software using web components, Typescript, JavaScript, AngularJS; Lit and/or Shoelace a plus
- Has the ability to develop secure code
- Working knowledge of SQL Server
- Experience with Git, Node.js
- .NET, C#, Excel DNA, iText, SSRS, Azure DevOps is a plus
- Experience testing and troubleshooting applications
- Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking skills
- Excellent written, oral communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies
