Parts/Rental/Service Specialist

Description

Curtis Lane Equipment is an authorized Bobcat® dealer serving Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina with 11 full-service locations. We offer sales, rental, parts, and service of all Bobcat machines.   We are looking for a self-starting team member to sell parts to repair and maintain compact equipment and attachments, while providing excellent customer service.  

• Responsible for creating a positive customer experience
• Responsible for Rental Department profitability and parts counter sales
• Assist with coordinating work schedules of service technicians 
• Follows up with quote requests or availability
• Look up, locate, and stock parts
• Responsible for helping forecast for rental inventory additions and deletions
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
• Completes assigned training
• Responsible for maintaining good “housekeeping” conditions for the department
• Responsible for the accuracy of all invoicing, making sure to include additional billing items such as transportation charges, cleaning charges, fuel charges, damage waiver, etc.
• Assists with forecasting rental inventory additions and deletions
• Responsible for keeping front counter areas clean and uncluttered
• Assist in maintaining store inventory processes, including putting away truck deliveries
• Responsible for the accuracy of all invoicing, making sure to include additional billing items such as transportation charges, cleaning charges, fuel charges, damage waiver, etc.
• Assists with business development by adding new customers, and maintaining existing customer base
• Communicates with the dealership Sales Manager regarding sales leads, new rental customers, etc.
• Follows up with quote requests or availability
• Responsible for the accuracy of all invoicing, making sure to include additional billing items such as transportation charges, cleaning charges, fuel charges, damage waiver, etc
• Involved with the credit department to collect past due accounts and resolve any customer conflicts
• Promote teamwork between departments and throughout the organization
• Completes assigned training

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in parts and sales
• Familiar with farm and construction equipment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Detail oriented
