Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity in the Western Digital enterprise and datacenter SSD marketing team. As technical product manager, you will manage the complete lifecycle of the market leading enterprise and data center SSD products.
In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to define competitive products which drive value for our customers. You will be a key contributor and influencer of the Enterprise SSD roadmap to ensure our products support the revenue and market share goals. You will set the product feature strategies by identifying key market trends such as performance and power requirements. As a technical product manager, you will work with a senior cross functional team from engineering, architecture, business development and sales to identify product gaps, business risks, and mitigation plans. You will drive agreement between the key stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive strategic business decisions for product delivery to support a marketing leading product portfolio
- Understand competitive landscape and segment trends to help product positioning
- Work closely with segment Marketing and sales to create marketing requirements and drive programs through the planning stage
- Act as a business owner and drive the execution of the Market Requirements document and Product Requirements document with the Product Development Team
- Produce financial business case to support roadmap decisions, estimate competitive product costs, help define pricing and go-to-market strategy
- Track engineering to deliver products on time and against POR commits
- Manage change requests and feature additions
- Assist in outbound messaging, sales training kits and create customer presentations
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of work experience in a technical role
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Technical bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
- MBA is a plus
- Hyperscale experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication
